A brief history of the Nijinator. 
2009: THE BIGGEST MYSTERY... for some reason.
Her gender was a mystery!
Her powers were a mystery!
Her connection to Yaz (Yasuko) was a mystery!
The funny thing is...I don't think I ever had answers to these things.
2010: Made her entirely male. Still a mystery.
Barely drawn actually.
I think he had the power of all elements or something. Decided Yasuko was the reincarnation of her?
2011: A brief revival as my anime style reached it's peak. I decided to go for an angel appeal with her, with a rainbow braid. These things stuck for a while!
2012:
Barely mentioned at all. But shows up in memes/doodle comics anyways?
Seems to be wearing modern clothing.
2013:
Mullet and rat-tail hairdo going on. Really wanted to push her "strong girl" thing, but it got very tomboyish.
Bigger wings because I felt the adornment ones were a bit silly.
She was always with Yaz as he was leading her or dragging her into situations.
No will power at all. Just a fem yaz clone this year.... whining at him. x,D
2014: Deciding to make her the MC of Chaos Driven turned everything around for her! Total revamp to embrace her feminine side, sided on more of a ghost appeal than an angelic one. Replaced her wings with wing-like clothing extensions. Starting to actually flesh out her motivations and personality.
Also a total babe now.
